Logistics Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive warehouse and transportation operations to guarantee efficient receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products while adhering to service quality and cost objectives.
• Achieve industry-leading customer service by meeting On-Time In-Full (OTIF) standards and fulfilling customer orders as per service agreements.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through stringent stock control methods, achieving consistent reconciliation between physical and system inventories.
• Maximize productivity and reduce logistics costs by optimizing fleet use, route scheduling, and staff deployment.
• Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers to uphold service contracts, quality benchmarks, and cost controls.
• Oversee reverse logistics by ensuring prompt management of returns and customer credit notes within designated timeframes.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to boost operational efficiency, minimize waste, and secure tangible cost reductions.
• Provide detailed operational reports, conduct performance analyses, and deliver insights to guide business decisions and enhance performance.
• Develop team capabilities via coaching, training, and performance management, fostering a culture of responsibility, teamwork, and ongoing learning.
• Enforce health, safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout logistics functions to maintain a safe and sustainable workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 4 years’ experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain operations, ideally within FMCG or fast-paced distribution settings.
• Solid expertise in warehouse management, inventory control, transportation planning, and third-party logistics management.
• Proficiency with SAP/WMS systems and Microsoft Excel for operational data analysis and insight generation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the capability to juggle multiple priorities while achieving operational goals.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Power BI, logistics analytics tools, telematics, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven leadership experience in operational teams focusing on productivity enhancements, cost savings, or process improvements.
• Fluency in English and Arabic languages.
