Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist to join on a contract basis. This position is fully remote, allowing work from any location within the United States. The role focuses on managing comprehensive logistics operations and enhancing supply chain workflows to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute logistics plans to optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution frameworks.
- Track and analyze critical performance indicators such as delivery punctuality, shipment costs, and inventory turnover rates.
- Work closely with various departments to synchronize supply chain operations with organizational goals.
- Proactively identify and address supply chain risks including supplier issues and logistical delays.
- Utilize data analytics solutions to predict demand and manage inventory efficiently.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in logistics coordination, supply chain planning, or a similar domain is essential.
- Proficient use of supply chain management platforms and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical aptitude for interpreting intricate datasets to guide strategic decisions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of international shipping laws and compliance standards is advantageous.
