Role Overview
The Logistics Manager position is a full-time, hybrid role based in Tampa, FL with some flexibility for remote work. The role entails management of daily logistics operations including planning, coordinating, and tracking goods movement from suppliers to end customers.
Key Duties
- Oversee transportation scheduling and optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
- Coordinate activities with warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to align supply with customer demand.
- Work closely with procurement and customer service teams to address and resolve delivery-related challenges.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics, recommend, and implement process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies as well as compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in Logistics and Supply Chain Management overseeing comprehensive goods movement.
- Experience in Inventory Management to ensure proper stock control and demand forecasting.
- Understanding of Procurement processes for supplier coordination and cost-effective purchasing.
- Strong Customer Service capabilities for managing inquiries and maintaining partner relationships.
- Ability to analyze data using logistics or ERP software and improve routing, scheduling, and inventory controls.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain is essential; supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous.
