About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and well-organized Logistics Administrator who thrives in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment. This position is part of the Tanker Services team stationed at our Glasgow Head Office and offers the chance to engage in diverse operational duties while delivering exceptional customer care.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage daily coordination of tanker services throughout the UK, ensuring efficient task allocation.
- Raise contracts and assign work or queries to appropriate planners and depots.
- Handle invoices, customer inquiries, and maintain driver and job compliance checks.
- Communicate regularly with customers by telephone to provide updates and resolve issues professionally.
- Support the operational team with accurate reporting, administration, and data management using spreadsheets.
- Collaborate with departments across the business to ensure seamless daily operations.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Prior experience or knowledge in transport, haulage, or the waste management sectors is highly desirable.
