Line Supervisor - IoT Production

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Line Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the IoT production line based in Bangalore. This junior-level position involves ensuring the seamless implementation of the production schedule, maintaining cycle time targets, managing stock transfers, and enforcing bill of materials (BOM) discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement daily production plans according to schedule.
• Monitor and regulate cycle times to achieve production output goals.
• Ensure accurate BOM usage to prevent material discrepancies.
• Coordinate stock movement between Stores, Production, and Quality Control departments.
• Track work-in-progress (WIP), rework, and finished product status.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation for the line.
• Uphold quality standards throughout all production stages.
• Promptly report any material shortages or production-related issues.
• Collaborate effectively with Procurement, Quality Control, and Planning teams.
• Assist with management of EOLT, Flashing, and CAN testing workflows.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Familiarity with production planning and execution processes.
• Basic understanding of BOM structure and its application.
• Knowledge of inventory control and stock transfer procedures.
• Awareness of cycle time management and line balancing principles.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Excel and ERP software is preferred.
• Capability to supervise and manage production line operators.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, ECE, EEE, or Industrial Engineering disciplines.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in Electronics, IoT, or Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) production environments is preferred.
