About the Company and Location
This position is based at Al Najada Doha Hotel By Tivoli, part of Minor Hotels—a global hospitality group operating more than 530 properties under various brands worldwide, across Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America.
Role Overview
The Lifeguard ensures the safety and well-being of guests and staff within assigned swimming areas during business hours, maintaining vigilance to prevent and respond to emergencies effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain guest and associate safety within designated swimming zones during operational hours.
- Hold valid Lifeguard certification with authorization to perform Artificial Respiration (AR) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Set up and monitor pool safety equipment such as lifesaving flotation devices, appropriate flags, first aid kits, and informational signage including pool depth and water/air temperatures.
- Attend promptly to any emergencies that arise in the hotel or resort swimming areas, ensuring rescue boats are readily available at all times.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess Lifeguard certification with 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Good command of English for effective communication.
- Demonstrate a pleasant and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
