Role Summary
Vertex is seeking a dedicated full-time Land Analyst based in Calgary or Sherwood Park, Alberta. In this permanent position, you will oversee and process documents regarding Surface Land, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You'll join a collaborative team, reporting directly to the Supervisor of Land Administration, where professionalism, ethical conduct, and a commitment to company goals are central to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain both Crown and Freehold surface land files.
- Analyze survey plans and prepare corresponding third-party documents as required.
- Create detailed client reports and provide tailored project status updates.
- Gather and structure necessary data for project documentation.
- Format and proofread client reports and other correspondence for accuracy and professionalism.
- Handle document processing, including copying, collating, filing, and mailing distributions.
- Assist with various administrative duties as they arise.
Desired Qualifications
- 1–5 years' experience handling Land Administration duties.
- Diploma or degree in Land Administration is preferred.
- Comfortable using MS Office, OneStop, Electronic Transfer System, SPIN, Pandell, and Abadata software.
- Excellent organizational talents, especially under tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Proven ability to collaborate within a team framework.
- Strong ethical drive, motivation for results, and a passion for ongoing learning.
Location
This opportunity is based onsite in either Calgary or Sherwood Park, Alberta.
