The Hoxton has launched its first hotel in Ireland's vibrant capital, Dublin. This city boasts rich history, lush green parks, and a lively scene filled with music, art, and exceptional dining and drinking experiences. Our central Dublin location will feature 129 bedrooms of various sizes, a lobby bar, a historic bar, a spacious ground floor restaurant and lobby restaurant, and uniquely, a nightclub - a first for us.

Role Overview

As a Kitchen Porter, your responsibilities will include:

• Verifying incoming products against purchase orders, specifications, and delivery notes.
• Ensuring products are received in correct quantity and weight.
• Organizing and storing all delivered goods properly within the hotel premises.
• Comparing prices on delivery documentation, raising issues when discrepancies arise.
• Maintaining accurate documentation for delivery notes and invoices.
• Performing monthly inventory and stock audits, including unscheduled spot-checks.
• Communicating effectively with team members to guarantee smooth operational flow.
• Upholding company policies for waste storage and removal.
• Managing general upkeep of storage facilities and loading dock areas.
• Adhering strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
