Junior Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our global team at QBuild Software, working remotely within the United Kingdom. This role focuses on defining customer technical needs, collaborating with software developers, proposing effective solutions, and managing software implementation projects. You will coordinate project timelines and maintain ongoing engagement with clients across Europe throughout all phases of implementation and after deployment as their main support contact.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with sales and implementation teams to ensure seamless project transitions.
• Serve as the lead consultant and project manager, delivering consulting services to customers.
• Work with both engineering teams and clients to identify optimal solutions or design new approaches.
• Act as the subject matter expert for engineering processes when liaising with software and business partners.
• Analyze customer requirements and industry trends to help shape product development strategy.
• Prepare and present cost estimates and scope amendments for implementation services.
• Engage in trade shows, partner events, and customer visits, primarily within the UK and Continental Europe.
• Operate remotely with occasional travel to the North East of England as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer), or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong enthusiasm for understanding customer businesses and tailoring relevant solutions.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliver high-quality results.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude combined with a solid work ethic and a good sense of humor.
• Ability to maintain focus amidst multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines.
