Job Overview

We seek a driven Junior Planning Engineer to join our Project Planning team. This role is ideal for engineering graduates or entry-level professionals aiming to develop a career in project scheduling and planning within the construction and interior fit-out industries. The role entails supporting project scheduling tasks, tracking progress, preparing reports, and assisting senior planners in schedule maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update project timelines using Primavera P6.
• Track project advancement relative to approved schedules.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and other teams to gather updates.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Maintain project dashboards and planning trackers.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling project activities.
• Identify delays in schedules and report deviations.
• Keep accurate records of planning documents.
• Analyze data utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure punctual reporting to supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Fundamental understanding of project planning and scheduling principles.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Competence with Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of project monitoring and control methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to operate efficiently in a dynamic construction environment.
• Experience working within the UAE is advantageous but not required.
• Fresh graduates with Primavera P6 expertise are encouraged to apply.
