Job Overview
The position of Junior Financial Analyst falls under the Finance function and reports directly to the Group Finance Director. The role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update the consolidated cash flow forecast for the group, collaborating closely with subsidiary teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Execute monthly financial consolidations across various legal entities and highlight any significant variances for management assessment.
- Perform continuous sales and cost analysis to guide commercial and operational decision-making.
- Generate ad hoc financial reports and analytical summaries as requested by the Finance Director.
- Track the financial performance of subsidiaries and assist them in fulfilling group reporting obligations.
- Develop automated reporting tools and dashboards using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI to streamline the finance function and reduce manual workload.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of financial processes, internal controls, and documentation.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Between 2 and 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a similar field.
- Highly skilled in advanced Excel functionalities; knowledge of VBA and Power Query is beneficial.
- Familiarity with SQL and Power BI is a valuable asset.
- Preferably experienced in Microsoft Dynamics 365; knowledge of any ERP system will be considered an advantage.
- Technically proficient with the ability to independently handle data, construct models, detect trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and capability to handle multiple deadlines effectively.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English with excellent communication skills.
