Junior Data Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Junior Data Analyst to aid in data gathering, reporting, and business intelligence efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, validate, and organize data from diverse sources to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Examine datasets to discover trends, patterns, and actionable insights for the business.
• Create regular reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for various stakeholders and management.
• Assist in the creation and upkeep of business intelligence reports and key performance indicators.
• Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.
• Track and monitor KPIs to assess business performance.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses supporting operational, financial, marketing, and strategic projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting needs and business requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and adherence to data governance protocols.
• Help automate reporting processes and enhance data collection methods.
• Document all data sources, methodologies, and reporting workflows.
• Stay informed about the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of data analysis, statistics, and reporting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, charting, and data manipulation.
• Basic familiarity with SQL for querying and data extraction is preferred.
• Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio is beneficial.
• Introductory knowledge of programming languages/tools such as Python or R is a plus.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• High level of attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly present analysis results.
• Capacity to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Preference for candidates holding bachelor's degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
