Role overview
Pilot Company is looking for a Janitorial Maintenance team member to help keep the travel center clean, safe, and welcoming for every guest. The role supports a busy, guest-focused environment where each day can bring different tasks and interactions. The company also notes that team members may be trained for other roles within travel centers and restaurants, creating room to learn and grow.
Compensation
The starting pay for this position is between $17.60 and $22.10 per hour.
What you will do
- Keep the store clean and presentable throughout the day.
- Clean shower areas and restroom facilities.
- Wash, load, and unload towels used for showers.
- Carry out basic repair and maintenance tasks around the store.
- Collect and remove trash from the travel center area.
- Deliver strong guest service by maintaining well-kept facilities.
Qualifications
- Self-driven candidates who take initiative.
- Comfort working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for most of the shift.
- Availability for a schedule that may include nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial equipment and the ability to handle minor fixes is an advantage.
