Role Overview
As an IT Support Officer based in Dubai, this part-time hybrid position provides flexible work-from-home options. The role involves offering technical assistance to staff and virtual medical assistants, ensuring smooth operation of desktop computers, printers, and other related IT equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software complications to maintain system efficiency.
- Assist users experiencing difficulties with connectivity and access.
- Document incidents and their solutions thoroughly to maintain updated records.
- Set up and configure devices to ensure user readiness and system integrity.
- Monitor ongoing system performance and identify potential issues proactively.
- Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to senior IT staff or external suppliers as needed.
- Collaborate closely with training and operations teams to support a reliable technological infrastructure for remote healthcare services.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong foundation in IT support and general technical assistance.
- Competence in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
- Experience with desktop computer installation, configuration, and upkeep.
- Knowledge of printer setup, connectivity, and printing issue resolution.
- Preferably holds an IT, Computer Science, or related diploma or certification.
