IT Manager

Overview

The IT Manager role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and management of the organization's information technology strategies and policies. The position ensures compliance with legal and regulatory standards while driving digital transformation and optimizing operational IT processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead supervision and review of IT strategies and policies aligned with business objectives, laws, and standards including digitalization initiatives.
• Provide strategic advice to senior management on IT-related business operations, risk management, and policy adherence.
• Manage IT projects end-to-end, including planning, design, deployment, and monitoring of new systems and IT services.
• Oversee IT staff performance, promote team development, and identify training opportunities to enhance skills.
• Evaluate IT system performance metrics to recommend improvements for cost efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct needs analysis within departments to identify vulnerabilities and improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure seamless integration and functionality of network components, keeping updated on new capabilities and competitor technologies.
• Review and update internal IT policies, standard operating procedures, and processes.
• Generate timely and comprehensive IT performance and status reports.
• Plan and monitor the IT department budget, exploring governmental grants to support IT innovations and upgrades.
• Manage vendor relationships to secure high-quality services that align with business requirements and budget considerations.
• Deliver technical training and support to employees on hardware and software issues as needed.
• Develop, implement, and maintain business continuity plans including secure data backup practices.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze business requirements and design IT solutions accordingly.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the CEO and senior management.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT management roles.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Good understanding of programming languages, operating systems, IT equipment, enterprise backup and recovery methods, and performance monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in implementing, configuring, and evaluating IT solutions.
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage workloads under pressure, including planning and delegation.

Work Schedule and Location

The role operates on a five-day workweek, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, based at 1 Joo Chiat Complex, Singapore.
