Position Overview
Join the private investment division of a leading Southeast Asian conglomerate as an Investment Intern. This role involves extensive involvement in the semiconductor sector, advanced technology, and dynamic growth industries.
Key Duties
- Conduct comprehensive research on sectors and companies relevant to current investment mandates, including market sizing, competitor analysis, and detailed thematic studies.
- Create and update comparable company analyses, covering both trading and transaction multiples, to assist in valuation assessments.
- Support the preparation of management updates, deal pipeline tracking documents, and briefing materials for investment committees.
- Contribute to deal screening by summarizing incoming teaser documents and Confidential Information Memoranda into structured preliminary memos.
- Manage deal flow logs and monitor follow-up activities across ongoing processes.
- Offer analytical assistance for live transactions which may involve financial modeling, coordinating due diligence efforts, and researching counterparty information.
Internship Details
- This is a full-time internship requiring a minimum commitment of three months.
- Start dates are flexible and offered on a rolling basis without a fixed intake period.
What You'll Learn
- Hands-on experience with live mergers & acquisitions and private equity deals from initial screening through to completion.
- Responsibility for generating analyses that directly influence investment decisions.

Qualifications
- Recent graduates or final-year students from prestigious universities, ideally with academic backgrounds in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business disciplines.
- Solid understanding of financial modeling, valuation methods, corporate finance concepts, and advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous internship experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or Big Four transaction advisory services is strongly advantageous.
- Mandarin language fluency is considered an important asset.
