Role overview
NEX Partners is an independent M&A advisory practice that works with entrepreneurs, founders, and investors on mergers, acquisitions, and strategic deal activity. The firm is building an entrepreneurial, modern advisory platform and is seeking an Associate who can contribute to active M&A mandates, collaborate closely with senior team members, and support the firm’s expansion.
What you will do
- Work closely with clients and investors on financial modelling, valuation work, presentations, transaction execution, and project coordination.
- Create and refine financial models and valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, and transaction comparables.
- Develop presentations, marketing materials, teasers, and Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs).
- Assist with due diligence activities and the execution of transactions.
- Contribute to live domestic and cross-border M&A deals from initial origination through to closing.
What we are looking for
- At least 3 years of professional experience in M&A or Corporate Finance.
- A demonstrated history of supporting multiple M&A transactions from start to finish.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or another quantitative field.
- Strong analytical ability and sound problem-solving capability.
- Authentic interest in M&A, corporate finance, and entrepreneurship.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong professionalism, and a clear sense of ownership.
- Very good communication skills in both German and English.
