Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to identify and approach potential clients for Investment Advisory mandates, including client book analysis, pitching, and prospecting support.
- Conduct thorough client assessments after onboarding, evaluating their knowledge, experience, risk tolerance, and investment goals to craft an Investment Policy Statement guiding advisory actions.
- Offer investment recommendations aligned with the IPS to help clients meet their financial objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, suitability, and client constraints.
- Expand assets under advice and increase revenue by converting prospects and deepening relationships with existing clients.
- Follow all organizational and departmental procedures, policies, and operational instructions to maintain consistent service quality and standards.
- Practice self-management in line with the bank’s people management frameworks to optimize personal contributions to business outcomes.
- Exhibit excellence in customer service by adhering to ADCB’s Promise and Service Standards in all interactions.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum seven years of private banking or asset management experience as an investment advisor or portfolio manager.
- Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification or equivalent is advantageous.
- Strong expertise in financial markets and portfolio construction.
- Skilled in relationship management and clear client communication.
- Proficiency with Bloomberg terminal.
