About the Role
Join Marina Bay Sands to elevate your passion and develop a meaningful career by collaborating with experts in their fields. As part of the Audit Services Group (ASG), you will integrate data analytics into operational and compliance audits, adhering to departmental standards and timelines. You will promote data analytics practices and help upskill the ASG team continuously.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute data analytics and AI techniques to assist the operational audit team in detecting potential issues.
- Contribute to ongoing audit monitoring and related initiatives.
- Discover and suggest improvements for enhancing efficiency and control effectiveness through automation.
- Analyze transactions, documents, records, reports, and procedures; prepare detailed documentation summarizing relevant data for assigned projects.
- Collaborate closely with engagement team members by sharing insights and ideas.
- Assist in drafting reports that effectively communicate the findings from data analytics activities.
- Support training and development efforts for staff in data analytics, compliance audits, and department protocols.
- Participate in departmental projects aimed at maintaining a world-class internal audit function.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or other programming-intensive courses.
- Proficient in SQL programming; familiarity with data science languages like R and Python is essential.
- Experience with Alteryx and data visualization tools such as PowerBI is a plus.
- Ability to independently manage large, complex datasets from diverse systems to support strategic business goals.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude, excellent organizational abilities, and effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication skills are necessary.
