Interior Designer

Role Overview

We seek a creative and meticulous Interior Designer responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior environments. This role requires a blend of artistic design skills with technical expertise and effective project coordination to deliver high-quality results.

Key Duties

• Create interior design concepts that align with client needs, project scope, and budget limitations.
• Develop space plans, mood boards, select materials, and prepare comprehensive design proposals and presentations.
• Generate detailed technical drawings including layouts, elevations, sections, and joinery specifics.
• Choose appropriate furniture, finishes, lighting solutions, fabrics, fixtures, and accessories to complement designs.
• Liaise efficiently with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth project flow.
• Assess and approve shop drawings, material samples, and submissions.
• Perform regular site visits to verify progress, maintain quality standards, and ensure adherence to approved designs.
• Quickly address and resolve any design or site-related challenges.
• Deliver completed projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and to specified design standards.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends, materials, products, and technical norms in interior design.

Candidate Requirements

• Holder of a bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in professional interior design roles.
• Proven portfolio showcasing work in residential, commercial, hospitality, or office environments.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp; familiarity with Revit is beneficial.
• Experience with 3ds Max, Corona Renderer, V-Ray, or other rendering/visualization tools.
• In-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and spatial planning concepts.
• Ability to interpret and produce technical and construction drawings.
• Strong presentation, communication, and project management skills.
• Keen attention to detail with capability to meet multiple deadlines efficiently.
• Experience working on GCC projects is considered an advantage.
