Intensivist / Critical Care Consultant

About the Role

Nextenti Tech is urgently seeking experienced Intensivists (Critical Care Consultants) to join their ICU team in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. The specialists will be responsible for the care and management of critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and life support interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients in critical condition within the ICU setting.
• Provide treatment for severe conditions such as sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, and multiple organ dysfunction.
• Handle mechanical ventilation and advanced airway support techniques.
• Conduct emergency ICU procedures including intubation, insertion of central venous catheters, arterial lines, and other bedside interventions.
• Lead resuscitation protocols and deliver Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Formulate and reassess treatment plans collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing personnel.
• Continuously monitor patient status and modify therapies as clinical conditions evolve.
• Ensure compliance with ICU regulations, infection control guidelines, and maintain patient safety.
• Keep detailed medical records and communicate with patient families regarding treatment progress and outlook.
• Guide and supervise junior medical staff and residents within the ICU when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of MD or DNB qualifications in General Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Pulmonary Medicine, or Emergency Medicine, OR
• DM or DNB in Critical Care Medicine is preferred, with additional certifications such as IDCCM, FCCM, FICM, or equivalent fellowships.
• Registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or relevant State Medical Council.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in Critical Care or ICU environments.
• Proficiency in the Telugu language is an advantage.
• Availability for immediate joining is preferred.

• Salary is negotiable and expected to be in the range of approximately 1,800,000 to 1,900,000 Indian Rupees per annum.
