Role Purpose and Impact

In this vital leadership position, you will amplify the impact on student success by coaching, developing, and leading a team of educators in an online K–12 environment. Your guidance ensures students receive compassionate academic support, rigorous instruction, and continuous encouragement, fostering confidence, engagement, and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

Coach and develop teachers into confident, effective professionals aligned with high standards of service and instructional quality.
Analyze student engagement, progress, retention, and intervention data to identify trends and implement early support measures.
Observe teaching practices, evaluate effectiveness, and provide actionable feedback to enhance instructional delivery and student relationships.
Enforce expectations for instructional execution, progress monitoring, and student accountability to promote success.
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, high expectations, and celebration within the educator team.
Serve students, families, and colleagues professionally with integrity and a personalized approach that uplifts each interaction.
Conduct frequent one-on-one coaching sessions focused on teacher growth and accountability.
Manage outreach, communication quality, grading timelines, and documentation to ensure service excellence.
Handle escalations directly with students and families to rebuild trust and resolve concerns effectively.
Develop performance improvement plans and maintain accountability when standards are not met.
Lead team meetings, training, and professional development to elevate instructional practices continuously.
Create and improve operational systems, playbooks, and resources to enhance instructional consistency and efficiency.
Contribute to hiring efforts to select educators who embody the organization’s mission and values.
Support secure and fair assessments through proctoring duties that may require occasional travel.
Perform additional responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the organization's educational mission.

Work Schedule and Environment

Full-time, exempt role with fixed hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mountain Time, year-round, observing daylight saving changes.
Maintain at least 40 hours weekly with dedicated focus and availability to students, parents, and colleagues via multiple communication channels.
Operate a distraction-free, professional remote workspace with reliable high-speed internet supporting video and communication tools.
Maintain consistent daily presence; absences longer than two consecutive instructional days generally cannot be accommodated during active terms.
Concurrent employment is not allowed without prior written approval if it impacts job performance.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
Valid teacher certification and completion of an approved teacher preparation program.
Capability to obtain required state certifications including Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and others as assigned.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in education, educational technology, or comparable sectors.
At least 5 years of experience serving students, families, or customers in a service-oriented role.
Minimum of 3 years managing teams or direct reports.
Successful completion of background checks.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000 USD annually.
