Job Responsibilities
- Install architectural grade doors, frames, hardware, toilet accessories, partitions, lockers, and other Division 10 products following field supervisor guidance.
- Perform installations independently and collaboratively with other installers, focusing on Division 8/10 products as assigned and trained.
- Handle installation of technically complex or demanding architectural-grade items adhering to manufacturer guidelines and warranty standards.
- Accurately record time and materials used for each project.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition, reporting any malfunctions promptly to supervisors.
- Provide training to entry-level technicians on installation techniques and procedures.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Participate in training programs to stay current with new building materials, technology, and installation methods as required by management.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous installation experience with doors, frames, hardware, or Division 10 products preferred.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening required.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in using measuring tapes, levels, and other essential installation tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication and teamwork.
- Excellent verbal and written abilities to understand and follow detailed instructions accurately.
Physical and Work Environment
- This role requires significant physical activity typical of construction or installation settings, including standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and using hands extensively.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing 25 to 50 pounds frequently.
- Work conditions may include outdoor environments, exposure to machinery such as forklifts, and using various hand tools.
- Travel to multiple project locations may be necessary.
