Role Overview
A reputed oil and gas organisation in the Middle East is hiring an IT Administration Assistant. The position is intended for female candidates and is based in Qatar.
Experience
Applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in IT administration, IT support, or administrative support. Prior exposure to the GCC region is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves supporting IT administration and office coordination work, including procurement assistance, invoice handling, vendor follow-up, meeting coordination, and general administrative support.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
- Background in IT administration, procurement support, or office administration.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Basic familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Exposure to SAP-based procurement or invoice processing will be an added advantage.
- Strong coordination, communication, organisation, and time management abilities.
- Capability to organise meetings, draft minutes, and monitor follow-up actions.
- Experience managing invoices, petty cash, budget records, and vendor liaison tasks.
- A proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to handle several priorities independently.
