About the Role
Join DataAnnotation's team to contribute to the advancement of AI in cybersecurity by working remotely and managing your own work schedule. We seek skilled cybersecurity experts to assess AI-generated security content and help refine AI systems through practical validation and feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Critically evaluate AI-produced cybersecurity materials, such as threat analyses, vulnerability reports, and offensive security methods, to verify their real-world accuracy.
- Create and resolve security-centric technical challenges that train AI models.
- Develop clear, technical documentation and write relevant security code.
- Offer insightful feedback that directly influences the progression of AI-based security models.
Requirements
- At least two years of practical experience in cybersecurity roles, including but not limited to penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, digital forensics and incident response (DFIR), malware analysis, threat intelligence, or allied specialties, such as cyber operations within government or military sectors.
- Proficiency in coding and familiarity with navigating and updating codebases.
- High proficiency in English with excellent writing skills.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH) are advantageous.
Additional Information
This is a contractor role with payment processed via PayPal. We do not require any fees or payments from candidates. The opportunity is restricted to professionals living in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. You may either perform this work alongside another full-time job or focus exclusively on it.
Compensation and Work Conditions
- Competitive hourly compensation starting between $50 and $100, with possibilities for bonuses on selected projects.
