Overview
This full-time onsite role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focuses on administrating the IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4i) suite ensuring seamless performance, availability, and security of all components.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the entire CP4i infrastructure to guarantee high availability and optimal performance.
- Oversee IBM MQ components such as queue managers, channels, clustering, and high-availability setups.
- Administer IBM API Connect components including gateways, portals, management, and analytics subsystems.
- Manage IBM App Connect Enterprise servers, integration flows, and deployment processes.
- Configure, secure, and troubleshoot IBM DataPower gateways and related policies.
- Handle IBM Event Streams, managing topics, partitions, and event-driven integration workloads.
- Deploy and maintain CP4i workloads on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, ensuring smooth operation.
- Execute installation, patch updates, upgrades, backups, restores, and perform capacity planning.
- Monitor system health, establish alert mechanisms, and proactively address performance or availability issues.
- Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines alongside operational automation for integration processes.
- Collaborate effectively with development teams, infrastructure units, and client representatives to facilitate successful delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of practical experience administering IBM Cloud Pak for Integration.
- Comprehensive expertise in MQ, API Connect, App Connect Enterprise, DataPower, and Event Streams.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, including deployment, operator use, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Experience using monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools within containerized environments.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capability to manage high-priority production scenarios.
Location and Work Conditions
The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and requires full-time onsite presence.
