Job description
Position Overview
This role requires full ownership of the HR strategy and daily HR operations throughout Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will handle the entire employee lifecycle, including strategic workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning development, career advancement, and offboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategy and operational activities specific to the KSA region.
- Manage recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding, development, performance reviews, and employee exits.
- Ensure strict adherence to Saudi Labor Law, Saudization (Nitaqat), GOSI regulations, Wage Protection System (WPS), and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development policies.
- Create and maintain competitive compensation and benefits frameworks aligned with the local market standards.
- Handle employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution in compliance with local labor laws.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, budgeting headcount, and succession plans.
- Formulate, update, and enforce HR policies, standard operating procedures, and employee handbooks consistent with legal and corporate requirements.
- Manage the HR Information System administration and generate HR analytics reports to facilitate informed leadership decisions.
- Lead initiatives to promote employer branding and enhance talent attraction within the region.
- Oversee government relations and portal management including Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, and other MHRSD platforms; liaise with legal counsel as needed.
- Ensure payroll processes are accurate and compliant through coordination with finance teams.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the HR team to build internal capabilities.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is advantageous.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in Human Resources.
- Experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors is highly preferred.
- Background working with companies of 500 or more employees.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
- Expertise spanning strategic and operational HR functions.
- International experience, preferably in a multinational corporation.
- Demonstrated career stability with long tenure in previous positions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven capability in leading and developing HR teams.
- Deep knowledge of Saudi labor law and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience operating within matrix organizations with regional and international collaboration.
- Leadership approach that emphasizes people, culture, coaching, and staff development.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion principles.
- Ability to build trusted partnerships across all organizational levels.
- Confident strategic partner to senior management.
