Role Overview
This internship offers the opportunity to assist the Human Resources department by engaging in various administrative duties, recruitment activities, onboarding processes, and HR-related projects. The position involves close collaboration with experienced HR professionals who will provide guidance and mentorship to develop your practical HR expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment efforts by preparing and publishing job advertisements on multiple employment websites and social media channels.
- Perform preliminary screening of resumes and applications to shortlist suitable candidates.
- Arrange and coordinate interview schedules between applicants and hiring managers.
- Participate in preparing materials and organizing sessions for new employee orientations and inductions.
- Maintain and update employee information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) or internal record systems.
- Assist in planning and executing team-building initiatives, corporate events, and employee health and wellness activities.
- Help manage and organize HR documentation while ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Provide general support including responding to basic employee inquiries and aiding the HR team with various ad-hoc assignments.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a closely related discipline.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic may be required.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to manage confidential information with discretion and respect for privacy.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential; experience with LinkedIn or similar recruitment tools is an advantage.
- A keen learner, motivated self-starter, and cooperative team member.
