Position Overview

As an experienced HR professional based in Dubai, the HR Generalist - Manager will closely collaborate with local leadership to support the strategic goals and cultural values of the Middle Eastern practices. This role encompasses delivering a breadth of HR functions including talent acquisition, workforce planning, development, and implementation of HR-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture partnerships with Equity Principals, Principals, and their teams by understanding business objectives and challenges, and devising practical HR solutions.
  • Advise executives and support management on organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, performance evaluation, training opportunities, and development programs.
  • Coordinate with the HRIS team to design and manage onboarding procedures for new hires.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts by deploying targeted sourcing strategies, utilizing social networks and recruitment platforms, ensuring a positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates.
  • Collaborate with immigration and mobility specialists to address employee visa and relocation requirements.
  • Report employee concerns and escalate to the regional Head of HR for management of performance plans, expectation resets, and investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies by staying informed about regional regulations and reporting compliance issues when necessary.
  • Champion the company's values by providing coaching to foster diversity, inclusion, and a high-integrity workplace culture.
  • Offer guidance on restructuring, workforce and succession planning initiatives.
  • Support business leaders in employee development, talent planning, and annual performance reviews.
  • Drive usage of HCM tools like UKG to enhance business growth strategies for various practices.
  • Update local HR policies and employee handbooks to reflect business needs and regulatory changes.
  • Partner with project managers to formulate and monitor HR-related project processes and timelines.
  • Identify and implement process enhancement opportunities within HR functions.

Travel Requirements

This role requires periodic travel to support locations in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 8 to 10 years of progressive HR experience including recruitment.
  • Preferred SHRM-CP or HRCI certification.
  • Proficient knowledge across multiple HR areas such as compensation, organizational analysis, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and employment laws specific to the Middle East.
  • Professional and consultative communication skills suitable for interacting with executives, management, and employees at various levels.
  • Able to manage confidential information discreetly and handle sensitive situations professionally.
  • Capable of juggling multiple priorities and ensuring timely follow-through.
