Job Overview
The Housekeeping Attendant upholds cleanliness and order within office premises by performing various light cleaning tasks. The role involves replenishing linens, cleaning common areas, and vacuuming to maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other workplace areas to comply with health standards.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using appropriate vacuum cleaners or shampooers.
- Empty wastebaskets and ashtrays, and transport trash and waste to designated disposal points.
- Run errands such as delivering laundry to cleaning services and purchasing groceries.
- Clean floors by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing with brooms, mops, or powered machines.
- Dust and polish furniture and office equipment.
- Polish silver items and metal fixtures including fittings and accessories.
- Clear debris from outdoor areas such as driveways, garages, and swimming pool zones.
- Replace light bulbs when necessary.
- Manage laundry tasks including sorting, washing, ironing, and folding clothing and other items.
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, applying waxing and polishing as needed.
- Coordinate repair services, including scheduling repair workers and supervising their work.
- Care for pets through grooming, exercising, and feeding if required.
Education Requirement
Completion of high school or intermediate education (12th grade pass) is required.
