Housekeeper

The role

St John’s Wood village in Taupō is hiring a part-time Housekeeper to join its team.

Key duties

• Support the team with cleaning and laundry tasks across the village.
• Keep residents’ shared and personal living areas clean and tidy.
• Work in line with site procedures so all areas remain sanitised, safe, and free from hazards.
• Handle a role that offers a good amount of day-to-day variety.

What you will bring

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning work.
• Practical knowledge of safe chemical handling.
• Good communication skills.
• A cooperative, team-oriented approach.
• A warm and respectful manner when dealing with residents.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
• A strong eye for detail.
• Ability to work rotating rostered shifts.
• Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand.
