Role Overview

As a Host/Hostess at The Singapore EDITION, you will warmly welcome guests, assess their party size, and assist with seating arrangements by locating available, clean tables, setting chairs, and providing current menus. You will lead guests through the dining area, offer needed assistance, and manage seating configurations for special groups. Maintaining immaculate place settings including napkins and silverware, ensuring current and undamaged menus, and keeping your work environment clean and organized throughout your shift are essential tasks. You'll actively monitor dining room availability, guest safety, and comfort continuously.

Company Standards and Conduct

Adhering to all company safety and security protocols is mandatory, including reporting accidents or unsafe conditions and completing necessary safety trainings. Personal presentation must be neat, professional, and uniform-compliant, with strict confidentiality regarding company information. You will greet guests according to established standards, communicate clearly and courteously, and manage telephone interactions professionally.

Teamwork and Quality Assurance

Building positive relationships with team members to achieve shared objectives, listening attentively to coworkers' issues, and upholding quality and service standards are vital. Physically, the role requires standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods and the ability to handle objects up to 10 pounds unassisted. Flexible support for other reasonable duties from supervisors is expected.

Candidate Profile and Company Culture

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with no previous related work or supervisory experience required.
