Role Overview

We are looking for dedicated Home Delivery Drivers to join our team at Iceland Foods in Strood, England. This position offers an hourly pay rate of £13.71 and involves delivering groceries directly to our customers, ensuring top-notch service and care in handling products.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe van loading practices, including proper heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Maintain strict compliance with safe driving standards during all deliveries.
• Conduct routine van inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness.
• Deliver food items ensuring they arrive in excellent condition to customers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, acting as the friendly face of Iceland.
• Assist with in-store duties when needed.
• Work independently while managing your time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Be flexible to work shifts that can vary between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a valid full driving license for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, friendly attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Have a solid understanding of road safety practices.
