Role overview
Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver to join its Newquay team. The position offers an hourly rate of £13.71 and is suited to someone who enjoys being active, working independently, and interacting with customers while representing the business on the road.
What the role involves
- Loading the van safely and following correct manual handling practices, including heavier lifting where needed.
- Driving in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
- Carrying out routine checks on the delivery van before and during use.
- Making sure groceries reach customers in excellent condition.
- Delivering a high standard of customer service as the company’s front-line representative.
- Helping out in the store when support is needed.
- Managing your own workload efficiently and working well without close supervision.
- Being flexible with working patterns, which may fall anywhere between 6:00am and 11:00pm.
