About the role
This opportunity is for an experienced high school teacher who can help improve AI systems by assessing chatbot responses, checking their reasoning, and identifying ways to make model outputs better. The work focuses on writing, editing, and content creation tasks, and candidates with backgrounds in communications or journalism may also be a strong fit.
What you’ll do
- Assign writing and editing tasks to AI chatbots and review the responses they generate.
- Judge the accuracy and overall quality of AI model output, including how well it performs against the task.
Working style and advantages
- Select the projects you want to take on and decide when you work.
- Work independently on your own computer from your home.
- Hourly pay starts at USD 25–30+, with additional bonus rates available on some projects.
Qualifications
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level.
- A careful, detail-focused approach.
- Excellent grammar, writing style, and brand voice control.
- A Bachelor’s degree that is current, in progress, or completed is preferred, but it is not mandatory.
Additional information
Payment is processed through PayPal. You will never be asked to send any money. PayPal will manage any currency conversion from USD. Only candidates based in New Zealand will be considered. This role is offered as an independent contractor arrangement.
