Key Responsibilities

• Follow all Food Safety Protocols, Health & Safety standards, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures meticulously.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of company and department policies and procedures.
• Participate in floor maintenance duties ensuring the work area remains tidy, safe, and visually appealing.
• Operate bakery equipment properly and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
• Develop and expand product knowledge, keeping up with seasonal and product updates.
• Engage customers warmly with eye contact and greetings to foster positive interactions.
• Consistently demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and conscientious work ethic.
• Progress in mastering oven usage and product preparation skills.
• Assist the Journeyman Baker or supervisor by preparing equipment and ingredients, and managing inventory retrieval.
• Receive deliveries, organize, and rotate stock and ingredients appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working conditions as per company standards.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced bakery setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team and customers.
• Basic knowledge of bakery operations and the retail food industry.
