Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator Assessor to join a leading Saudi government-supported Vocational and Technical Institute, handled by an established contracting firm in Saudi Arabia. This role offers an excellent opportunity for seasoned professionals experienced in heavy equipment operation, technical training, and competency evaluation within Oil & Gas, EPC, or vocational training sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out competency evaluations of heavy equipment operators aligned with industry benchmarks.
• Assess candidates’ practical skills and theoretical knowledge regarding heavy equipment operation.
• Ensure all assessments meet vocational training standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Create comprehensive assessment documents and maintain meticulous records.
• Support competency-based training initiatives and evaluation schemes.
• Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines and organizational policies.
• Provide constructive feedback and recommend paths for skill development to trainees.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 5 years in a related position such as Heavy Equipment Operator Assessor or Technical Trainer within Vocational & Technical Institutes or Oil & Gas/EPC sectors.
• Prior experience working in GCC countries is highly valued.
• Proficient English communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Possession of relevant technical certifications and educational credentials.
• Preferred certifications include Vocational Assessment & Quality Assurance credentials such as A1, V1, D32, or D33.
• Knowledgeable and committed to HSE safety standards.
