Overview

The Healthcare Data Entry Representative will support administrative and data-entry tasks in a structured environment. This position focuses on maintaining, updating, and processing records accurately while following set procedures and quality expectations. The work is best suited to someone who is highly detail-focused, comfortable with Excel, and able to handle both routine tasks and occasional more complex assignments with care.

Role details

This is a W2 contract position based in the USA and performed remotely. The role is expected to require 40 hours each week, with a standard schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST.

Training schedule

Training will run Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM CST for approximately 6 weeks.

Responsibilities

Carry out data entry work and provide general administrative support.
Process information and keep records current in line with established procedures and quality standards.
Check records for accuracy and completeness before finalizing updates.
Contribute to team activities and help support broader departmental objectives.
When needed, assist by guiding, reviewing, or helping train less experienced colleagues.
Use Excel and Microsoft Teams to organize work and communicate effectively.

Required qualifications

Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Hands-on experience using Microsoft Teams.
Strong accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to follow defined processes and work under close supervision.
Proven speed and precision in data entry tasks.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with Medicare-related work.
Background in healthcare, health insurance, or data entry.
