Key duties

Assist clients with everyday personal care and household routines, such as washing, dressing, and meals.
Support clients in moving around safely and maintaining independence.
Offer companionship and emotional reassurance.
Observe wellbeing and escalate any concerns when needed.
Help maintain a safe, calm, and comfortable home setting.

Candidate profile

The employer is open to applicants with care experience as well as people moving from retail, hospitality, or family caregiving backgrounds. A caring, dependable, and upbeat attitude is important. A full Irish driving licence and access to a car are required. QQI Level 5, or an equivalent qualification, is also needed.
