Overview
The Ned and Ned's Club represent an internationally recognized network of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants designed for individuals who appreciate vibrant social and professional experiences. Situated in the former Midland Bank headquarters in the heart of London's financial district, The Ned encompasses a private members' area, a gym, rooftop, public spa, extensive event spaces, diverse dining options, and a 248-bedroom hotel.
Role Summary
Joining the housekeeping department, the Head House Porter plays an essential role in maintaining the overall upkeep and cleanliness of the entire venue, including hotel rooms, public spaces such as restaurants and bars, members' areas, spa facilities, as well as the laundry and uniform sections. This position reports to the housekeeping management team and contributes significantly to upholding the high hospitality standards The Ned is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of all building areas, including managing deliveries and storage spaces.
- Lead by example to foster exceptional hospitality service within the team, providing guidance, monitoring standards, and offering constructive feedback.
- Ensure immaculate cleanliness and presentation of all guest and public areas, reflecting The Ned's strict standards.
- Collaborate closely with the housekeeping team to support various operational tasks across different sections as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience is advantageous; however, highly motivated porters aiming to advance are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire, guide, and support a team effectively.
- An exceptional eye for detail combined with excellent organizational skills.
- Capability to remain composed under pressure and adept at handling challenging situations by turning them into positive outcomes.
