The Role

As Hardware Engineering Lead, you will steer a skilled team of electronics and mechanical engineers to develop the next generation of our groundbreaking eShepherd hardware products. From ideation through to deployment in the field, you will influence product strategies, shape the technology direction, and ensure delivery of durable and scalable solutions that withstand demanding agricultural environments.

You will work in close partnership with Product, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing, and Customer teams to convert practical customer feedback into effective engineering outputs, maintaining a balance between innovation, quality, reliability, and timely market delivery. Additionally, you will mentor your team, champion engineering excellence, and cultivate an environment where innovative ideas evolve into outstanding products.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• A degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams involved in complex hardware or IoT product development.
• Comprehensive product development expertise spanning concept origination to full production.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with various functional teams.
• A dedication to coaching engineers and nurturing a motivated, high-achieving team.
• Excellent technical judgment, business insight, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
