Guestroom Attendant

Job summary

This role focuses on keeping guest accommodations spotless, orderly, and up to brand standards while supporting a positive guest experience in a hotel environment.

Key duties

• Work a flexible schedule that may include weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Address guest concerns in a professional way and help ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality across daily assignments.
• Follow house rules, safety practices, housekeeping room procedures, and security guidelines at all times.
• Clean and service assigned guest rooms based on category priority and hotel/franchise requirements.
• Return the housekeeping cart and replenish supplies at the end of the shift.
• Carry out deep-cleaning and seasonal-cleaning tasks when scheduled.
• Take on other related tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

The guestroom attendant is responsible for cleaning assigned rooms to the property’s cleanliness standards, reporting maintenance issues, responding to guest requests or complaints, and protecting the privacy and security of guest rooms.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cleaning experience is required; prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, supervisors, and team members.
• Should understand the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is an advantage.
• Awareness of local attractions and activities that may interest guests is helpful.

Employment type: part-time or full-time. Work mode: in person. Compensation: $17 per hour.
