About 16VC

16VC is an early-stage venture capital firm dedicated to supporting outstanding founders. We believe that exceptional design enhances trust, narrative, and community engagement. We seek a Graphic Designer to produce sleek, contemporary visuals representing the exceptional calibre of the entrepreneurs we back.

Role Responsibilities

Develop graphics for platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Instagram, newsletters, presentations, and the 16VC website.
Create branding and visual materials for founder-focused events, demo days, fellowship initiatives, and community programs.
Design pitch decks, reports, playbooks, and marketing collateral.
Generate infographics, carousel posts, and presentation templates.
Collaborate with the Content Strategist to craft engaging visual storytelling.
Maintain and enhance the 16VC brand's visual identity across all channels.
Produce thumbnails, banners, and creative social media content.
Provide support with simple motion graphics and basic animations as required.

Candidate Requirements

Between 2 to 5 years of professional experience in graphic design or visual communication.
A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital-first design.
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma.
Excellent command of typography, layout composition, and branding principles.
Ability to balance speed and quality effectively.
Good understanding of social media content structures and design formats.
Detail-focused with refined visual aesthetics.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with startups, technology sectors, or venture capital environments.
Familiarity with Canva and design workflows incorporating AI assistance.
Basic competency in motion graphics, using After Effects or equivalent software.
Skills in photography or illustration are advantageous.
