Overview

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial datasets to uncover trends, assess risks, and identify business opportunities.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and management updates.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning efforts.
• Conduct variance analyses and track performance relative to budgets.
• Create and update financial models and forecasting tools.
• Contribute to profitability, cost, and revenue assessments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Perform market, competitor, and industry financial research to inform business decisions.
• Prepare detailed presentations and reports for senior management review.
• Support development of business cases and investment analyses.
• Maintain accuracy of financial records and data integrity.
• Collaborate across finance, operations, and business units to enhance strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
• Recent graduate or up to one year of related professional experience.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to independently analyze complex financial information and collaborate within teams.
• Motivated to learn financial software systems and analytical tools.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced Excel capabilities including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and Charting.
• Basic knowledge of data visualization and query tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Tableau.
• Familiarity with financial modelling and forecasting methodologies.
• Experience or understanding of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
• Knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis processes.
• Prior academic projects or internships in finance-related areas are a plus but not mandatory.
