About the Role
Join a prominent sustainability organization as a Graduate Analyst within their expanding environmental advisory team based in Australia. This entry-level position involves supporting diverse clients including corporations, municipal bodies, and real estate developers to progress toward decarbonization, improve resource management, and comply with environmental regulations in local contexts.
Key Duties
- Support the accounting and verification of Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions inventories using advanced sustainability software tools.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to analyze building data, aiding projects to attain certifications like LEED, WELL, or conform to local energy regulations.
- Develop and sustain data models that monitor client metrics for water use, waste diversion, and energy conservation.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to help clients assess and prioritize their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risk factors.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Recent completion of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as STEM, Environmental Science, Sustainable Infrastructure, Engineering, or Economics.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in managing spreadsheets and large datasets, able to identify meaningful trends.
- Effective communication skills capable of simplifying complex scientific data into understandable business insights for non-technical audiences.
