Role Overview

The Google for Education Lead plays a pivotal role in driving sales and strategic partnerships across educational institutions. This leader is responsible for advancing Google's comprehensive offering that includes devices like Chromebooks, cloud-based services such as Workspace for Education, and innovative AI tools like Gemini targeted at K-12 and Higher Education sectors. The role emphasizes modernizing educational environments and improving outcomes through technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently exceed sales goals, positioning within the top 5% by securing significant landmark agreements and fostering cross-product collaborations.
• Act as a respected thought leader and trusted confidant to C-level executives beyond own account portfolio.
• Lead and deliver strategic initiatives on a regional or global scale, coordinating closely with Managing Directors, VPs, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Exemplify company values and champion complex cross-functional projects as well as culture-boosting programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or comparable practical experience.
• At least 5 years of background in technology sales or customer-facing sales roles.
• Preferably 10 years of experience involving technology sales, strategic partnerships, or business development.
• Demonstrated success in leading large go-to-market initiatives and negotiating major deals.
• Proven capability to direct technology adoption strategies at regional or global levels.
• Exceptional skills in collaboration and influencing stakeholders across matrixed organizations including Sales, Product, and Engineering.
• Recognized leadership within the education technology or broader education sector.
