General Utility Worker

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated General Utility Worker to join our team in Hamilton, Ontario. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and want to contribute to maintaining cleanliness and service excellence. Your responsibilities will include keeping dishes, equipment, and the work environment sanitary, which supports the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold food items for lunch service by following simple recipes to ensure guest satisfaction
• Operate POS systems and debit/credit card terminals efficiently
• Maintain outstanding customer service and uphold a positive attitude towards guests, customers, co-workers, and clients
• Comply with company safety and sanitation policies, including food safety standards
• Protect company property by ensuring security measures are followed

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow basic cooking recipes
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols, including handling hazardous chemicals safely
• Availability to work morning shifts
• Must be prepared for physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and long periods of walking or standing
• Use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required
