Role Overview and Responsibilities
The position entails directing, managing, and monitoring all supply-related operations to support PHNSY IMF Detachment Stirling's availability and schedule. You will supervise team members responsible for logistics, from planning through to execution, ensuring smooth handling of materials and consumables. Acting as the key liaison for supply operations, you will maintain all supply documentation in line with relevant regulations and command policies. Administrative controls and procedures will be designed and implemented by you to deliver supply and material support efficiently and within budgetary and timeline limits.
You will also be expected to recommend alternative approved supply sources during long lead times and identify emergency supply options. Identifying problems, analyzing systemic issues, and proposing corrective actions are critical to this role. Immediate operational supply challenges must be recognized and addressed promptly. Planning and execution of important supply initiatives form an essential part of your duties.
Conditions of Employment

Qualifications and Experience
GS-13 Level: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12, including communicating supply statuses to mitigate material unavailability, recommending alternative supply sources amid long lead times, analyzing systemic problems with corrective action proposals, resolving supply issues promptly, and managing budget requests and expenditures effectively.
GS-12 Level: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11 with similar competencies as GS-13 but may have fewer responsibilities in budget management.
Note: Experience can be from federal service or equivalent private/public sectors, including volunteer engagements.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The job involves exposure to various potentially hazardous agents such as fumes, noise, heat, radiation, and chemicals, with safety ensured through personal protection programs. It requires frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, and occasionally working in confined spaces. Work occurs mainly in office settings but includes visits to multiple production and operational areas. Travel, including by military and commercial aircraft, is expected.
