Overview

Seapal Pallets & Crates, part of the Hyne Group in Queensland, Australia, is seeking motivated General Hands to join their expanding team. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in general labour, pallet assembly, or operating machinery, working in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes skill, quality, and safety. The position contributes significantly to producing durable timber pallets essential to Australian supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

Operate pallet manufacturing machinery such as saws, nail guns, and automated assembly lines safely and efficiently, meeting daily production targets.
Ensure all pallets satisfy stringent company requirements for quality and durability.
Identify and resolve issues with equipment and tools to sustain safe operating conditions.
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within your work area using proactive methods.
Emphasize safety policies ensuring all employees return home safely each day.
Utilize cross-functional skills and work flexibly within the team to meet internal customer needs consistently.

Candidate Profile

Willingness to learn practical skills and engage in hands-on tasks.
Experience in manufacturing, general labour, or similar roles is appreciated but not mandatory.
Either competency in tool and machinery use or readiness to receive training.
Dependable, diligent, and committed to producing quality results.
Availability for flexible shifts, including rotating rostering.
Possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Strong collaboration skills with capacity for self-motivation and independent work.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM (early finish)
