As a key contributor to this mission, the General Assistant (Cleaner) plays a crucial role in upholding these high standards throughout the club.

Role Overview

This position involves maintaining cleaning excellence across all gym areas, including fitness zones, studios, changing rooms, showers, and communal spaces. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to guarantee a hygienic, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for all members.

Key Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning and upkeep of all gym areas such as fitness spaces, studios, changing facilities, showers, and shared zones
Sanitise equipment, frequently touched surfaces, and ensure overall presentation meets high standards
Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks and daily compliance inspections
Empty waste bins and handle waste disposal effectively
Monitor and report on cleaning supply stocks to management
Identify and promptly communicate maintenance issues and health and safety hazards
Collaborate with club staff to enhance member experience
Consistently maintain cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards
